thats pretty dear imo if only for a set up,you could have it mapped properly for that price

Remember reading it recently on here.

 

MSD will live map for that and about £130 for set up

 

speak to msd,they will sort you out.

if you do spend £500 there,you will be assured it will be money well spent

 

its cos it a fez turbo always been told they were expensive to set up

 

but a set up is boost, fueling, AFR, general check over, to make sure everything is safe and within spec of the chip, why is more expensive on a fiesta than a S2 or Cossie

 

also surely less issues on a FRST as it runs edis and coil packs so no dizzy issues, less moving electrical componemnts to have to sort out

.....yeh but grove's worth it......................what i mean is he could be in the bottom of southern ireland and it's a bit far just for a "set up"....( sorry i forgot that blackpool is the center of the universe)

 

its well worth it for a set up mate,,,, i got my car done by stu and he found boost leaks, wanky map and some other issue with it i forget about

grove seem good by reputation,,, hell i used to contract work out to dennis brothers next door to them and heard about how good they are

but,, if where honest its a little hard to get booked in there and getting general work done cars seem to be in there for a fair bit too

stu has a very fast turn around and can get a car in and out in a day,, even if its a bastard job too he will still do what he can to get it sorted

 

i aint saying go to grove either.....there must be somewhere closer to him/in ireland

i think IMO getting a car set up is a personal thing,, ive seen a few car set ups in my time ( not seen grove though) and tbh,,,,, most of em dont do basic checks for leaks ect ect just hook up the gear, check theres tax and tyres and away they go

stu gives a folder with a full breakdown of what was done, whats recomended and what he also done and why

best ive seen ever imo

 

know what ur saying ginge................msd do the full check up as do grove....every sensor,plug,lead.pipe etc is checked..........it's all good

 

pete thats what MOST garages dont do though which is a shame,,,,, but thats only cause i now own a impreza pmsl

 

would think the other "top tuners" check though............(i've only used grove and msd)...........would hope so.............
