why does when i open a thread...
it always goes down to the advert at the bottom of the page then i have to scroll up to read the messages.
any ideas why?

It always happens to me, its just to make sure you look at the adverts. When you open the thread theres an advert at the top then it switches to the bottom. I keep on meaning to start the same thread as you have, It fucks me right off.

Happens to me also, IE7 XP SP3. I just press the home key when the thread opens.
Will try it in Firefox later and see too.
