RWD XR2.How?
Has anyone got any info on rwd xr2's, I've pretty much got my shell sorted but it's the putting together that matters, Will all this work?
5 linked (5th link will be standard xr2 panhard location)
turreted rears
Mk2 Top suspension mounts welded into xr2 wings
Compression strutts
Shocks will be mk2 bilstien rears but what do I fit on the front?
Gp2 Fiesta arches to house axle and big diff tunnel
Standard size English or baby atlas(depending on engine)
One off 1 piece prop
Pinto or cossie with Pro quaife or cossie box
Mk2 Escort WCXM crossmember which should take WC mounts
Mk2 Quick rack (can this go to standard XR2 hubs with drive shafts removed from CV joints without cutting shell?)
Steering rack ? (help)
side exit exhaust
Any help would be very helpfull,

If thge shell I'm going to see next week (I'm sure you all know who's old shell it is!) isn't up to much, then there's an xr2 race car on e bay with a 14 point weld in cage!wings are a bit dented here and there but nothing to worry about.

Mint idea mate-Go for it!!!!
My mate has a mk1 fez with the engine in the back, the guy that done it basically put the front of the lancia(it has a lancia twincam) in the back of the fez if you see what i mean using the front struts,hubs brakes etc in the back and it works real well!!!!!!!!!

this would be a simple job, personally I'd fabricate the top suspension mounts and use a coil over shok so you car fine tune the spring rate at the rear, I just finish a twin engined car at work which would be more work so stick to the RWD conversion for the experience good luck
