FAO: Thrush/iPhone peeps
Right, updated my software to v2.2 the other day. Since then any app on my phone that wasn't on the phone in the first place won't load!
It's a 3g phone and I have never jailbroken it or anything.
How can I get them working again?

Easy to update, just load iTunes, plug your phone in and it will search for the update. If not then you can click to maually search.
BM08 - that is the first problem I have had with it, you stick with the N95 which has the screen quality of a speak and spell

Think the battery is a sealed unit like an iPod. They do have a lifespan and can die. Have a search on the google to see if anywhere local to you can do a swap.

I had a silver one for a while. Didn't realise the screen was actually different on the black one!
I just find the fonts/graphics used by Nokia never seem to change, even the N96 to me just seemed like a N95 in a new case, rather than a ground breaking new phone.
Pre the Silver N95 I had I was Nokia loyal, never had anything else.
Ignoring the graphical interface, its the way the iPhone does things that impresses me. Very well thought out!
Nokia is not bad, just enjoy the iPhone a lot!

This is something that happened on my phone, after a bit of searching on the web I found the answer.
All the apps that are loaded on itunes need to the de-authorised then re-authroised to work, even the free ones. It's a bug in the software so they say still not fixed by the sound of it.

easy to load tunes onto, your own ringtones and the loudness of it, bluetooth, not forgetting the dual slider and the camera. just a shame it was slow i did like the n95, it was a good phone.....but after using the iphone, for me it wins

Right!
I was going to re download the apps that were not working, then I stumbled upon something new I wanted. Installed that, it worked then all my apps started working.
BM08 - deffo not a Nokia vs Apple thread here, both are excellent phones, the only thing that made me get the iPhone was the way it can do the internet. Apart from that like you say its horses for courses
