Counting the Days!!...........She's now home 22/11/08
Im now counting the days to get my car back!!!! Yipeeee
For those that dont know, the car was away last year having a rebuild and during my running in miles it suffered some major problems. The engine shop didnt rectify the problems, so ive taken it to someone who know what theyre doing!
Ive had to have a full rebuild again, this time with 0.5 pistons, new fly etc etc, the previous build was to very poor stds and wrong parts used!
While the car was been built before they dinted my bonnet, scuffed my wing tops and put a scratch in the roof............ not nice when i'd just had a £3300 paint job!!!!!!
( not naming and shaming as im going legal against the other shop to get my money back )
Anyway, been speaking to Rick @ the garage and he informs me it should be back next weekend!!!!!!!
Ive swapped the T38 for a TT T35 .55, so im deffo now staying around the 380 BHP bracket.
Ive had the car nearly 2 years and only done about 500 miles, as ive been doing so much, then with the engine letting me down last time was nearly the last straw ( car was forsale nearly everyweek!!!! )
Anyway i really am looking forward to getting it back now!!!!
Plan to do all running miles before Xmas and Mapped by Karl Norris before Xmas too!!!!, then back to Bodyshop to rectify the marks caused by engine shop.
BRING ON NEXT WEEKEND!!!!!
AND SUMMER
