Carnoisseur shops
Are they anygood these days?
Last time I went to one was 1992 in Dunstable
One has just opened in Kettering, is it worth going for a look, or will I just find a glorified Halfords chav/max power section?

well ive only been to cossymad's one...
its a bit "boyracer" but worth a browse... but 90% of the stuff i buy from him is ordered in especially tho, not the stock thats on display on the shelfs...
the catalogue looks a bit boyracerish too, but theres still a lot of good products in there in between the stick on spoilers and neon lights...

The one in Southend is the boll0cks. 
Kettering one will be good I reckon.
Dunstable is under new managemnt and is being sorted.
Bedford is still OK (except Simon sold his 450+bhp Cossy)
Bristol (unless you have a VW)
Cambridge
Ballymena
Isle of white
London
Jersey
Donegal
West Wales

my girlf's cousin fiance wants to start one in Kent which maybe a good idea well if he wasnt such a bell end he drives a bright yellow max powered up Fiat coupe which he reckons is 280bhp and does 4.5 to 60 yet couldnt catch me down the A130 he said about the Southend shop and I said the owner Chris goes on PF BB and has sorted a few bits for my mates cossie etc etc
anyway my question : is it like a franchise you buy the name ??

They are a dealer for them though?? I am sure of it. I tell you how I know. They did me a sticker to go across my window tint sun strip on my rover coupe. "World of Ice - Carnoisseur" 
They do alloys etc, that is the carnoisseur side...

There used to be one in Birmingham attached to the side of a Fina petrol station
When I had my first 3dr I bought a Ram Air induction kit of the chap for £180
He properly fooked that price up though as when I went back to collect it he tried to charge me more but I had already paid
