Just about to have a skim so it will be a few thou less than this!

sounds very thin to me, check the area around the valves, there will be very little material left.

its not "very thin",thousands of yb's out there are running happy at 138.4 or below,in fact finding a head taller than this is becoming very difficult,i would fit it with no worries what so ever,regardless of whats said on here!

i havnt given the go ahead on this yet the chap mentioned he could take the valve back slightly? to compansate the skim... whats peoples thoughts on that? i dont know if he ment for clearance issues which doesnt mater to me as the engines pocketed...

i got my head done its at 138.01mm now planning on putting it on a 205 block think standard pistons, would it be ok as there not pocketed? cheers hugh
