What realistically can you get out of a late standard good running sierra cosworth on a gentle run?

I used to get high 20's now get more mileage with more power thanks to MSD's closed loop chip.

mine was a std green top when i got it, id say light cruise, 27mpg,

im into the high 30s now with double the power....msd inside!

the funny thing ive found, the bigger your turbocharger, the longer you stay in closed loop. i can cruise at 110 in closed loop no boost at all with the t4

I thought it would be closed loop being a cat?
Can you got a closed loop stage one chip from MSD or similar?
If I can get 30mpg would be livable, be the same as the M3 I had; bit sad when you look at it like that though.

I know I know lol.
Stage 1 would keep me entertained for a while, even standard as I've gone from M3 to passat tdi
Need reliability as daily driver see, and starting work at 4am getting a lift in when it won't start isn't fun.

would think std engine, turbo set of greens/seimens running 20 odd psi (300ish bhp) would be a very nice reliable car........

Then there's it being little over 100k miles, suppose if all sounds good then no need to worry of rebuilds and shit?
For the cost is hard not to, being 1/4 tonne lighter than the M3 and same bhp should be nice quick car.
