Default Need to re- home my bulldog

Iam gutted to have to re-home due to a baby on the way!
She is called molly and is a 16th month old victorian bulldog.
Free to a GOOD home where she will be walked daily and treated right.

What breeder did you get her from ? Only a few vic bull breeders about. I have a 2 year old male. What papers has she got ?

She looks more American Bulldog to me. Hope you find her a loving home.

You not rehoming your boxer as well then ?

She looks lovely.

As long as you are sensable the dog should be ok with baby.

My dog is graet with my one year old.

Read hear about vic bulls here http://groups.msn.com/VictorianBulld...outthevbf.msnw, though i suspect this dog is not a vic bull and is an american bulldog, same temperment though and brilliant loyal fun dogs.

This is my victorian bulldog

Do they cope well on there own, or is a lot of attention throughout the day required?

Also being a certain breed rather than a mongrel do they have any medical problems that are specific to the breed?

Nice looking dog by the way, I'm sure as hell it'll find a home quick!

It has an american bulldog head, and should be at full height by that age. Though found this post from Cameron, https://passionford.com/forum/general-car-related-discussion/187316-british-bulldog-puppy.html, says it is a cross of an old thyme bulldog and a british bulldog.

I'm not being nosey or anything just i have a lot to do with the Victorian Bulldog Foundation and just putting a point across it is not a vic bull, clerly is not the same as mine. Do';t want people think there getting a vic bull and be dissapointed it isnt.

I doubt this will affect it being re homed at all as he looks a cracking dog.

I need to re- home her because the mrs cant look after her, my boxer and a baby. She is a very young dog and is constantly at 100mph!
She is very loyal and loving but is also very jealous and can be stroppy.
She isnt a full breed but is crossed. Didnt get papers with her, she was cheap and is a pet. I didnt buy her to breed off or show.
If i cant re-home her before the baby arrives she will have to come to work with me and sit in the van, not ideal but better than going to the pound!

mate not having a dig but seriously if thats the reason just keep her and work extra hard in keeping them seperate unless your around!

if theres another issue then thats different but dont know how any owner could do deal with giving their dog away!

just look at her eyes dude, shes loyal to you and your family, need to re pay her with your loyalty and compassion!

Genuinely hope it works out for you mate!

But it can come down to whats best for the dog, he might be able to make it work but if the quality of life drops too much you've always got to take a step back...

Easy to say from the outside in trust me

Spot on! I dont want to change the dogs quality of life. Segregation from the whole family would be cruel and confusing for her.

I hate my stupid rental agreement!! I was hoping to move out with the sole intention of getting a dog.

I wanna new best friend. Awesome dog mate, remember seeing those pictures before.

Hope you find a loving owner for Molly, looks super chilled.

Good luck pal

people may take this the wrong way but all the people saying its too far imo shouldnt be going for it anyway.its a free dog so its not like a car, people travel miles for shit boxes but wont for a dog thats costing them nothing.

shame its having to be re-homed.

i'd be a bloody nightmare if tracey didnt tell me know.i'd end up with all sorts living with me.

Yeah, my staffi had to have counselling And i took her to training classes every week to control her behavior. Lengthy and hard work, but satisfying!

You only get out of a dog, what you put in. If you will have even less time to devote to your dog, then maybe you are doing the right thing. Try advertising on a dog website, the loot, or your local paper.

Best of luck.

I agree, i drove half way across the country to get my little fella, if people arn't prepared to drive a litlle, to me it shows the dont have the commitment to own a dog

Well fucked off! Just got home and the mrs says Molly has to go. No one wants her so she can be put asleep! She cant cope with her anymore and has spat the dummy out and said its for the best.

Please somebody come take her! She is aggressive towards other dogs and very wary of everyone. She needs dog trainer/ behavioural trainer.

What a shit day!

shes a beautiful dog mate, surely if your mrs says she has to go that she could be at least taken to a rehoming centre, cant understand why nobody wants her, i'd love to have her but i live with parents and my mum has a cat which i dont think would go down too well.
