Default need help on new wheels i got for my toy :)

i have a 3 door cossie and got compomtive 6 spoke 17" 8j et35 but the front wheels are clipping the bumperhow can i get round this problem and i am defo not cutting nothing what about if i got the wheels set to et33 would this do the trick?any adivce would be spot on heres some picspic are of my work phone so not so great

i had the same problem,bet youv'e got a saph anti roll bar on it.
The saph roll bar pushes the wheels forward about 10mm.
If you put a proper 3dr anti roll back on it will pull the wheels back and problem solved

I had this prob with mine, wish i knew about the saf anti-rollbar. I put compresion struts on, mines spot on now.

Thats because you had a 4x4 saff ARB A 2wd saff ARB doesnt push the wheels forward at all

What size tyres are you running?, 8" is not normally a problem.

Love the BBS rm's in the background, have them on my vr6

Havnt got any advise on the offset, but my fuck me.

That is one nice 3 door, the body colour against the darker wheels looks spot on.

a 2wd saph one does.........its the same as the RS500 one which were different fromt the 1st 3dr ones

most were recalled to fit the 2wd/RS500 one though

You need to fit an original 3dr h13 stamped front arb, the h14 fitted to the later 3drs/RS500 and 2wd saff pushes the front wheels 10mm towards the front bumper as has been said by others here.

take a look on the drivers side where it slots into the tca - thats where the number is stamped on the arb

its a standard 3 door anti roll bar i had 17" super t's on it before and never had this problem

hi martin i am running 215/40/17 or 205 its not that wide

a.k.a

i was thinking that when i bought them wasnt wanting to be exact samei was getting pissed off looking for wheels so got these and they hit my bumperso just take them to a place and get the put to et25?

so even if i put them to et25 would i need to change the anit roll bar? hope not
col or anyone could you let me know asap please so i know what to get done really dont want to be changing the roll bar

someone said that if i do take them to them to get put to et25 it will weeken them and brake?what do you think?

You cannot go from et35 to et25 not possable with out spacers,craig how do you now your car has the standard 3dr arb,and not the later recall arb fitted,also what bushes you got in your tca's,does it rub on both sides,gives a shout if you want me to come have a look

the h14 roll bar was fitted as a safety recall to the early production 3 doors it doesn't shove the wheels 10mm further forward ,the 4x4 one would

right got another anti roll bar and thats pushing it forward more and barry put the original one back on and they still dont fit fucking guttedanymore susgestions please guys iam really really needing advisebeen waiting about 16 months to drive the car and cant because the wheelsand i want to keep the on because i think it suits it

Cant you just adjust (pull) the front bumper forward a little ,i did this to mine and ive had no problems. Just the two bolts behind the grill

Mine still looks perfect, your talking 3/4mm mate

You should have 205's on the front, what are your shocks like? sounds silly but if there still the standard ones that wont help as there be nakered .
