Do you think calzaghe should fight again or retire ?

Been speaking about this today, everyone thinks he should pack up, but I dont.
With the meadia attention from overseas and the money involved in these high profile fights, he will make more money in one or two fights than in his whole career no doubt.
In his position, I would get a few big money fights in before I stepped out and retire a VERY rich man.

its just a shame he will never get the credit he deserves due to his inability to put the big names on the canvass, yeah he beats them but the americans will always turn round and say he blagged his way through, shame realy.

he hardly "blagged" it though did he? he went to their yard and did the business.
i dont think jones would want to fight him again but im sure hopkins would fancy it at the millenium.
i think he should have a farewell fight in wales.

I'm sure there are a few old men way past thier prime that he could still beat up and make some money from thier "names" and keep his"0" in tact....Lennox lewis did the same thing quite well(apart from the 0 bit!)

His destruction of Jeff Lacy was huge news at the time.
Hopkins dominating every round againsy Pavlik showed how good he still is.... and Joe beat him

make the fight an easy fight and people will say he only did it for the money
make the fight too difficult and there is the chance he will lose in front of his home crowd
retiring at the top of his game would, under those corcumstances, be better, but if it's got to be done, then it's got to be done really, especially as he is so proud of his home nation

finding someone of the same calibre is going to be a bit of a mission, but finding someone to take him on in "his last fight" will eb easy as everyone will want to be the one to put him down and make the pages of history, althoguh i don't think he'll become a mike tyson figure, sometimes pride does make you do silly things

You obviously havent been reading the forums in America?
I agree with what everyone is saying, but y`know what the yanks are like(fucking idiots), and they will never hold him with as high regard as they should purely and simply because he just cannot knock his opponents out, madness realy as he dominates the fight and wins hands down but they will simply refuse to look at it from that point of view...and you know they will Lee.

Joe is 46-0, Rocky Marciano was 49-0. I think the question is - Can Joe fight 4 more times to take the record? I think if he fights again he has to go for the record, otherwise retire as 47-0 is no more impressive than 46-0 imo.

Did not Julio Chesar Chavez reach roughly 90 fights undefeated?? I would say that Joe has zero chance of that record
