everytime i connect the iphone to my pc to sync it it removes a track i bought/downloaded for it, its done that to 4 tracks now im ready to fling the pile of shite out the window

im not loving it at the mo...

Right mate plug your iphone in to your computer. Select your iphone on i tunes and check the box that says enter music and videos manually. Then you just drop and drag from the music section to the iphone section.

Then go through everything and untick auto sync then when you want to add pictures or apps just select them to sync.

Are you downloading the music from Itunes on you PC or the Iphone? Or are you downloading somewhere else adding to Itunes after. If you move the song from its location Say for example you have a song in D:/Music and you move it to D:/Music/Folder on the PC it will kill the link with itunes so removing it from iphone when you sync.

ive had that problem on my itouch, only happens if I buy songs via the itouch and then sync

if you buy from the iphone or itouch i believe you must auto sync to get it on itunes

If the headphone socket is sunk into the phone its 2G, if its flush (so any headphones can be used) its 3G.

The easiest way, by far, is to look at it;



2G is on the left, 3G is on the right.

For those that don't quite understand - 2G has a metal back, and the 3G has a plastic back (either black (most common) or white (rare, and only in 16gb models)

The other simple way is on the status bar on the top of the display, it will usually say 3G in a littlesquare



Oh, and this is often a dead giveaway

Ok mate what you do is Plug your phone into PC etc. Open Itunes and wait till it finds your iphone. Then Click File on Top Left of sceen and choose Transfer Purchases from Iphone.
