Fake Cash!!!
I asked my mam to get some of my savings out of the bank yesterday. 60 quid in 20 pound notes. Two of them are fake.
I only found out as my local shop, took one of the notes off me. Saying its a fake.
Ive phoned the bank and they won't give a refund, saying they check all the money that goes into cash points.
Does anyone know how to spot a fake note? I'm pi@@ed off because i can't afford to have this money going missing!
Anyone experienced this, also?

Banks don't check em. They go through a machine and even those arn't too great.
You won't get a refund either.
Best way to spot is to feel the paper - rip through the silver line (it will go thru if fake).
Fake notes are now coming with UV reactive light on so look just like real - but if you compare the note to a real one, the quality is shite.
Oh, check if the queen has a tash.

Go into the bank and see them,
I got some duds a few year back from the machine at Asda, I went upto the Halifax who's machine it was and although they said the machine was Asda's concern, after me making abit of a rumpus in the branch they gave me a refund and I got on my way,
I didnt even bank at the Halifax either.

just finding my feet
the paper is cloth and not paper so will feel different and also its a powder rather than a in so rub it on paper and it should mark the other paper
also serial numbers should be checked too
if seen the super notes and they are good but not that good after they been folded a few times,,,, they start to look like suger paper

Apparently it's the £20 watermark above the queens head and the raised £20 in the bottom right of the note

impossible i work on these machines and they dish money out by the thickness of the note, i £10 note is a different thickness to a £20, so fake money on crap paper can not come out the machine as its rejected as a bad note.

Also, if you put a new £20 note under an ultraviolet light at the top there is a harlequin mark on it and on an old £20 note it will show a £20 sign under the ultraviolet light in the left hand side of the note

Everything else can be forged.
Everything else has been done successfully enough to convince the pro's.
And i'll give my next lesson tomorow in money forgery tomorow by showing you how to file down 50p pieces and turn them in 20p pieces

if you were handed a fiver, you wouldn't put it through the same scuritiny as a twenty would you, so they tend to get faked much more often
i've seen bundles and bundles of fake notes, literaly bundles of them like they dish out to banks and stuff and tagged and everything, so if they are bunched and tagged like that it's very easy to pass them off as new
tenners look better crumpled up by twenties tend to look much more realisitic if they are crisp and not scrunched up to fuck when you hand them over

I hade a note refused in a pub a few weeks ago and she wouldn't give it back to me and threatened to call the police! WTF! i told her to cos she'd robbed me of £20.
basically i told her in no nice way to shove her pint, pub, £20 and i'll never darken her doorway again. i cant afford to loose £20 so some old splitarse just cos she says so
