Jewel Violet Esc Cos

A mate of mine over here has just managed to bag hmiself a Jewel Violet Esc Cos Monte (I think its Alanas old one) and it just got me wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of the other 8? I know the other one to make it 10 was dead and buried a while ago...

Also why did Ford only make 10 RHD of this colour? Was it purely down to demand?

Any info would be great, I personally love the colour

I haven't seen the interior myself, but I know Alanas had the purple leather, I ain't sniffing the seat if it has as my mates sat on it now lol

Aubergine is the colour of Lee Cairnes (Fusions) old ERST (G19 RST) and is a totally different colour, looks almost black till the sun hits it then you get a hint of purple...

Agreed theres not many of them around either but its fact that theres only 9 of the Jewel Violet Esc Cos in RHD...

And lots of other log books of cars that are ment to say mallard green say green!! etc etc The Dvla dont always name the exact colour!! IE. Flame red would just be red etc etc

a lot of people are getting confused between aubergine abd jewel voilet

its not hard they are very different colours , by the sounds of it most of the rarest escort cossies are on this post

Sold the cossie back in July/August time.

Miss Monte very much

Sold it to a guy down in Portsmouth he was from on here infact.

Not many around now, a friend of mine has got one a jewel violet one like mine but without leather.

The "Monte" was available in only 3 colours - Ash Black, Mallard Green and "Jewel Violet" but i haven't seen many of the Ash Black ones, has anyone else ?

i've seen a jewel violet one with avec wheels getting petrol in copthorne Crystral garage looked fooking beautiful actually looked exactly the same as The Radmans car.
