what better 4-2-1 or 4-1 manifolds

Default what better 4-2-1 or 4-1 manifolds

looking to get an exsaust manifold for a puma powered fiesta, whats the better type, 4-2-1 or 4-1

depends what yu want aparently a 4-2-1 gives better mid range torque but sacrafices a bit of top end power where as a 4-1 gives better top end power but sacrafices mid range torque. Or so i'm led to believe

essentially correct.

I would prefer a 4-2-1 if its a road car.

its for a road legal track car so it will be on the road more than track

looks like a 4-2-1 would be the one to have.

unless its gonna be flat out on the limiter most of the time you'd be getter with the torque of th 4-2-1

I think you'll find hardly anyone runs 4-1 now apart from very specialist applications like F1..
