Dave, there are 2 ways that you can do it. one is to cut out the floorpan and weld in a sierra one, or get everything lined up - engine, cross member, gearbox, prop, rear end etc etc and then plate over it all.

its shiftys car , aka dave mcginley , part of the north yorks rsoc,

also dave try looking at wennys thread aka mk3cosworth in the resto section

i myself am going down this route ,

but my shells already sorted ,

plenty of info out there mate , just a case of looking ,


ohh and shiftys is a stunner , around 340 brake 4x4 ,iirc

blokes a diamond , even had there pleasure of poping to his gaff with a mate , ver resourceful , ...

Dave mine is going to Dannys once the Ka is finished

I' going to have it 4x4 like Shifty's. Had a chat and look round it at National Day and its so well finished

I'm going to get a Saff and cut the tunnel, bulkhead and inner wings out. Easiest way to do it, and Shifty said its almost like they designed the two to fit together.
