Of course they can. Any turbo can car can chatter.

Most modern cars have recirculating Dump Valves fitted as standard though. Take that off and it will chatter like a little bitch.

You should hear chatter on a car equipped with a DV if you only make a small amount of boost as it will not be enough to blow the valve.

My beantin chatters fairly well though!

 

since fitting the cam mine dont seem to chatter at all! so goin to stick standerd air box back on!.........one day! lol....

 

they sure do, mine did, i had the HKS mushroom filter with the std recir valve inverted, made a nice chacha but not as crisp as the cossie chochocho, could be to do with turbo design and/or length of inlet piping to the actual turbo.
