To many other factors - torque and number of cyclinders kills box's
400kilo F1 car and a t5 would last 5 secs.... for example....
v8 and loads of torque....
I know weight has effects on cars power so i guess its related LOL....
I don't know how to write my point accross LOL

Or more specifically, low down torque kills gearboxes .
This is why T34 equipped cars with big mid-range spikes kill MT75s as soon as look at them, but T4 equipped cars with the same peak torque (albeit higher up the rev range) give them an "easier" time and they last "longer".
