what should the oil psi presure gauge read?

Default what should the oil psi presure gauge read?

as above and does it go up and down while driving when you stop and start etc?

when warm, mine's 2 bar @ idle and anything over 2000 revs is 4 bar +

it does move up and down too with the revs.

mines 25psi ish , then 45 ish when drivin, is that good or bad and does anything else affect it (breather systems, high oil pressure pumps)

oil pressure will drop as temps rise as it will get thinner with the heat.

mines 60 psi when driving and if very hot 20psi at idle

apparently not bad for a 96k mile saph lol

when mines is cold its about 60 ish but when it warms up it gets the readings above, so it seems to be down to temp of the oil then?

deffo temp of oil affects it, if i start mine from cold the oil pressure will rocket straight up to 60 under normal running temps on idle i think mine sits around 40 ish

excellent mate, at least i know mines ok now, was a bit worried as i never had a oil pressure gauge before and seen it goin up and down and thought is that normal

different oil can effect your oil pressure too
