I nearly got totaled buy immigrant drivers on two seperate ocasions today (and i live out in the country)

First Im waiting at a railway crossing with a silver vaxhaull zafira ()
in front.. the barrier goes up and we move off.

the zafira has two male african/negerian men in it, and as he just reaches the other side of the crossing slams on his brakes and answers his phone!!!

Im left there stationary in my landrover over two rail lines cacking my pants! after frantic horn action he dont move, its only when i put my full beam on and im about 2" away from his bumper about to ram him does he creep foward.

the signal guys in the office are waving their arms at him, shouting!

Anyway when i roll down my window to give the . he hasnt a clue what hes just done and cant understand a word im saying to him



then on the way home, pulling of the A12 at Marks Tey, the road is lane dependant for about a mile.

im 50 yards from where the slip road begins doing about 60mph and this eastern man with the full beard in a sliver (again!) toyota corrola slams its brakes on (bare in mind im in a landrover, laden weight about 3 tons!!) and just stops dead.

I was weary of him so had plenty of time to stop. but if there was a lorry behind of what ever i dread to think!

so now im on the slip road, and have to pull over into the faster lane to get round him, as i do so (and im indicating) he violently swerves to the right , across the hatchings and makes a bee line back for the main carrige way!! As i pull of, i see in the mirror two lorries have to swerve in to the fast lane to avoid hitting him!

All he had to do was come up the slip road over the roundabout and rejoin!! So clearly he had no knowledge of the roads.

It just makes me so angry, Here i am doing everything buy the book, and if anything over cautious and paranoid about getting in trouble.

and theres pricks out there, with no pasports who i dare say dont hold a vallid licence and are almost definatly not insured or registered as owning the cars.
Yet they get away scott free.

Im just absoultley lost for words. rant over!

 

Something needs to get done, you see them driving like clowns, no idea what they are doing, usually in cars with big dents from previous collissions.

Me and the misses coming home tonight, nigerian bloke turn up the road we are on, goes wide over our side of the road then nearly crashes, why, because he is holding his phone to his rear and driving with the other arms, his arms were actually crossed over!!!!

 

thats the thing tho, i live out in the sticks, i hardly ever come across forigen drivers. the odd polish car if im near colchester or on the a12 but thats all.

But these guys today, ive never seen anything like it! i hope they were just passing through!

 

they all drive like it mate round by me, all over the road, and just go were they want, guess they just aint used to rules and regs over here.

 

I think its anywhere with a large immigrant population that has these problems commonly, and as thats most of the UK now then that is pretty much everywhere!!!

I think birmingham is the worst place in my experience!!!!

 

It's well scary, the biggest problem is there's less traffic cops and more speed cameras now.

I agree, there seems to be more and more bad drivers on the road and its just getting out of control now. A large number of the ones that cause you near misses/inconsiderate driving and just general hassle do seem to be foreign/immigrants/illegals. Now obviously some will find it difficult to adapt to our roads, but still some of the driving you see by them is a joke!!!!!

To be honest though, its not just these that are the problem. It seems we have ridiculous amounts of people that just dont have a clue how to drive or contol a car, and have no idea of road manners and lack basic common sense!

 

im doing over 1000 miles a week, and some of the cunts you come accross defiy belief.

best to just let it pass and not get wound up about it.

 

you shouldn't enter the rail line crossing unless the exit is clear! You can actually get 3 points for that, and may still do, someone on here had that happen about a year ago they got the points through the post a few days after as the exit was not clear and they blocked it.

 

the exit was clear, we were doing at least 20mph. there were no obstructions. except for his mobile phone!!

 

Jesus christ, was out and about today and an old black bloke turns right (to got the wrong way!!!)at a fast moving island, two lanes of traffic slam on just in time!!!

He then does a three point turn, with car door open and him hanging out to see where he is going to turn round!!!

Not sure if he was from another country or just old lol!! but he deffo looked pretty confused.

 

A polish lorry driver had been charged with killing the family travelling back from Birmingham

 

Do you mean the family of 6 killed on the m6??
That was a portuguese lorry driver. i dont know what he did, but it happened in tailbacks from an earlier fatal crash. Their car got thrown under another hgv and they both burst into flames. kids were 13,9,20months anf 10weeks.

theres alot of young asian drivers that need to sort thier driving out, id put money on it that 90% of them dont have license, insurence or anything else for that manner, then they have the nerve to drive like twats acting like they own the road. There are law obiding asian drivers out there but these arses are giving them a bad name.

 

you got any mates from india, one of mine has just passed hes english driving test,,, took im 15 attempts YET he has a indian licence and so can use that anyway

hes driving IS scary though

 

my dads been india, he says its mental the way the system works over there.
