Exclamation Anyone had problems with CTS

Competition transmission services in markyate.

I gave them a £200 deposit in june to build a stage 1 box for my s1 . long story short they took an age to build it then when i rang up to go and collect it they said ok its ready only to turn round when i got there and tell me they couldnt find it ????? then the next day when i rang they said they might have sold it .. I asked for my deposit back . They refused and are still holding my deposit they have to date not replyed to any of my emails and wont enter into any further discussion about it over the phone.

anyone else had probs with this company ???

regards

Larkins

Very strange, though Ive heard a few bad things about them when i went to them 6 months ago for a rebuild they were faultless, really really good service.

I bought a stage 2 off them a couple years back and got lucky because they had one built ready to go but have heard so many stories where they've taken AGES with orders and refunds. Thread title really didn't suprise me...

Companies good at what they do can lose focus so quickly, shame.

Hope you get it sorted

Shot peening & polishing
Combats stress fracturing for high-load applications.

I rung Bernie up, ordered a box, arranged when to go down there, drove down, got box fitted, drove home and it's still in there 3 years later. Did they take a deposit purely because they had none in stock ? Did you get a receipt for the deposit ?

Shot peening shoots tiny glass beads at whatever metal you want to strengthen at up to 600mph IIRC, as said just smoothes out imperfections.

took 2 months to do my mates box too when they was in the " high times"

Can you image if it was somewhere like a car rental firm or a holiday company?

"Hi there, we've lost the Focus you were going to hire, and because we're pissed off with ourselves we're keeping your deposit. Sorry about that..."

You'd kick off and go proper mental!

how did you pay dude? because if you used a CC you can get them to pull your money back without even involving CTS. Also did you get receipt for your deposit?

If they're still screwing you around in a week or so and refuse to talk go to small claims courts....you will have to pay out around £25-30 IIRC but when you win CTS will have to pay your deposit and the court costs....

Cheers
Dan

What the fucks up with people
you got no box!! they don't have one for you and yet they refuse to giveyou your deposit back???..

Don't get that attitude at all

They wanna keep your deposit for what?? the fact that THEY have pissed you about?

either get in the bank now or do a small claims court route
