Default How to shape and fit brake pipes?

I fancy doing my own brake piping on the race car but I have never done this before. I plan to use a single cylinder for front and a single cylinder for rear to replace the original Ford brake servo. I would also like to use the original Cossie connecting brackets where I have braided lines installed. I'll probably route the pipes roughly the same as Ford but without the ABS connection and use a T connection in each circuit to split.

So what do I need to do the job? I will practice before I do it for real. What gauge brake pipe? Connections? Tools? And where can I get all this in one place on the net?

Thanks all,

Charlie

goodridge hardpipe (-03) or 600-03 braided hose - depending on how easy you want to make life.
If using hardline, you need a bending tool, a flaring tool and a tool to deburr the flared ends.

Merlin motorpsort were the cheapest that i found who sell the hardline (£22 per metre vs £40 at most places)
600-03 is a few quid per metre, the lighweight stuff 610-03 (25% lighter is about £19 a metre I recall).

The braided stuff is a simple matter of just laying in the car and bending by hand where you need it to go but you offset the ease by some degree of extra flexibility which MIGHT result in softer peddle feel. I say might because you might not even feel any difference, some theory vs actual application comes into play.
