that Pat Tate was a fuckin psycopath though wasnt he !!! fuckin hell, tony tucker seemed to be much feared but very reasonable till Pat Tate came out of jail and corrupted him along with all the drugs,when you read O mahoney and leach`s books,the amount of people they were upsetting on a weekly basis near the end ..it was no surprise what happened,they were totally out of control,

the bloke who advertised it recieved death threats which is why the Rangerover was removed. He put a link to the Bernard O Mar website to prove it was the same

A chap who was going out with a friend who lives in Essex was apparently related to Carlton, said someone got caught not long ago with silly amounts of coke and was banged up for a serious amount of time. But most ppl I meet that come from essex say they was best friends with Carlton L and co.

On one of the youtube clips of news reports said who ever done it must have been trusted by the 3 men in the jeep as they had time to open doors before shooting.
if they wernt trusted they would have been shot through the jeeep windows.

i dont think anyones ever gonna find out what really happened that night. not all the details any way. think i may have to find the other film and watch it ive always been interested in this story for some reason

It would be safe to say the only people that knew what went on that night would be the people who commited the murders,
These guys upset alot of people on their travels, and in business so there could be a big list of suspects really,

I see your point with that, I did see survelance on them. But I guess with it being a cold dark snowy night in peak traffic, possibly could of lost there tail.
Whatever happen that night, they was setup like a fucking kipper.
a question, what are the point in shotguns? no good for long range or militery etc

i disagree actually.
tucker's crew upset many people.including their own friends! they were THE biggest dealers and hard men in the area at the time,they had many convictions behind them and had done alot that hadnt been reported.
they were supposed to have left a guy as near as damn it dieing on the road in laindon after injecting him with a mass cocktail of drugs,as well as another that was killed.
i dont completely rule out the police init.im not saying they did it.but i think they may have infulenced someone into doing it and framing steel and wholmes at the same time,thus clearing up a big mess in essex that was getting out of control. plus there was a convienent amount of evidence and calls lost/not logged/ignored etc
the essex boys did not fear the police and this was a big issue i think

the saying "theres always a bigger fish" is so true. you can rein as long as possible but there will always be someone to knock you back and take over.
whether its sport or drugs or whatever.
leach was huge back then due to steroid abuse,which fuelled his temper.

Bernard o'mahoney was not part of the tucker gang. He knew them and did some work for tucker, but is widely acknowledged as being a bit of a hanger on, and someone with a morbid interest in the Rettendon murders. There is no love lost between him and Leech who was in the gang. Pat tate was supposed to be a right loon, with the part in the pizza place being a toned down version of what actually happened.

i do wonder weather there is still anything actually in that range rover any were. you no a bit of coke hidden some were or hidden evedence like in a petrol tank or chassis or something. coz if the police had searched it properly they would of pulled it apart and it wouldnt be on the road now.
