You try finding a box 1.1 meters long

I've tried making one but it looks gash

Obviously dismantle some bits to make it more compact. I would wrap with bubble wrap, put it in a box with foam/crumpled paper. More importantly drain all fluids from it, customs dont like combustables in cargo holds of aircraft.

loads of big boxes like that, go to any computer company in the area and look in their recycling bins lol, a server box would be ideal. for example, EDS in Bartley Wood Business Park, Hook!

dismantle it as best as possibble - wrap it all in bubble wrap - then wrap the bubble wrap in Bin Liners (so they cant see through to what it is) then wrap around it with Blue Rope - this will keep it all together and act as handles when they come to lift it.

either that or nip down to curry's ask them if you can go round the back and have dig through the skips for a 50" Plasma TV box - find 2 similar size bodge them together, bish bash bosh, roberts ya fathers brother!
