Hi all...New Member
I am new on here and thought I would just write an introduction about myself and say Hi to you guys.
My name is Gurcharn and I own both Elite Detailing (www.elitedetailing.co.uk) and Elite Detailer Car Care(www.elitedetailer.com).
Like you all, my passion is cars. And it was my dream to set up my own company that enabled me to 'work' on cars. However, the word 'work' I use really lightly, as to me, it is much more than that. I absolutely love what I do, I love bringing cars upto to concourse standard, I love seeing cars evolve and to help make cars look their best. I'm just a petrolhead to be honest! I am also lucky enough to have worked on some of the most exclusive supercars in the world.
Yet, it has taken years of sheer hard work, research of manufacturers, products, ingredients and of course, good old trial and error to find products that not only live upto what they say, but are also good for the cars paintwork, wheels, tyres, engines and interiors! I mean products that not only achieve an effective result but also provide no detrimental impacts on various surfaces over time. I would say I have spent 1000's of hours trying and testing over and over again.
I read, eat, sleep and breathe Cars and Car Care, as this to me is my passion. I have since set up The Elite Detailer as an uncomplicated one stop shop for car care products. It is concise, clear and convenient. You don't get a list of 3 or 4 products claiming to do the same thing, you get the one product that does the best job, and I put my name on that! I am impartial on brand even though I have been formerly approved by all the main wax makers. I simply use the best product for the job.
It is also down to experience and good technique that I have managed to get where I am today, and that is what I hope to share with you.
I am open to any questions or queries you may have, whether it be about a specific product, problem with your cars interior/exterior or you just simply want a recommendation. Just ask and I will do my best to answer promptly. I will also be uploading some guides for you so that you may be able to learn a few tips on car care. If you would also like to see more pictures of some of the cars I've worked on, then I would be happy to post up...
Your probably thinking by now that I'm one of those boring guys that just enjoys polishing his car. This is true to an extent but I also like to drive cars hard. I must admit and I hope I don't get shot for this on a Ford forum but I drive a fully stripped out and caged Golf Gti. I also love to track and have been on 3 trips to the ring this year in the last few months. However, I have always had a soft spot for the Focus RS and am contemplating going for one. I will probably be asking a few questions about the RS and hope you guys can advise me. I will try doing a search first though before I ask any silly questions.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to being part of the community.
Regards
Gurcharn

Thank you very much for the welcome guys, really appreciate it.
I will get some for you. It's not a good showcase of my work though I'm afraid, lol. It's what you can call, "the stolen recovered look."
I don't know how to quote multiple times in a thread so I will try and just list the names.
BM08 I am based in the Midlands but regularly travel all over Europe mate. I wouldn't mind an E36 M3 track car actually.
Cheers AJ, 360's are awesome sounding cars, good mate of mine brings his to the ring.
Ed Van Dijk, I will Pm you with some ideas.
Thanks again everyone.

Best first post I have ever read.
EVER.
Welcome to the site Gurcharn
I'm a track addict so my idea of a clean car is a wash (just upgraded from a sponge to a lambswool mitt, but that is as buffty as I get!) and chamois dry (not gone for a microfibre yet!).
My black paint with fancy blue flecks has lost it's deep black shine / gloss, and looks like it needs (dare I say it ) a damn good T-cutting! What's good to use, that's cheapish, but not actual T-cut? Something to bring back the black colour (not the blue / faded look it has now)

Go with Z9 and Z10. http://www.elitedetailer.com/cgi-bin...mpid=2&cmrid=1 They are pretty much odourless too. work the cleaner in with a soft brush and wipe away with a hot damp cloth. Then with a fresh cloth work the conditioner in. If you would like a more detailed breakdown, PM me.
Here you go, not sure if you can make out what the car is in the reflection but you get a bonus point if you do? :
