Default Oz at TurboTouch

In Catford, SE London.

Does anyone know what car he's running now?? Apparentley he is still running a business but its now called Turbo Techniques at the same premises.

One of my mates has been approached to do a 1/4 mile race against Oz who is meant to be running some high powered cossie. My mate has a Ford Zepheur running a Chevy V8 lump hot rod stylee.

I know Oz was in PF or FF a while ago quoteing some ridiculous figures for an Rs Turbo ha had at the time and got some serios egg on his face

didnt he have a RST with like 300bhp that did 11's on the 0-60 sprint due to a flapping dump valve

Think he had an Rs500 aswell with big power but like more power than the injectors could make or summit kinda remeber Mike R posting summit about it years ago

Saw the Red S2 Turbo Touch car up by me a while ago outside a company called Atford Engineering.

Didn't seem to want to chat to me much though as I stopped to chat in my works van. Maybe he'd have been different towards me if I'd actually been in my RS

I remember he had a shoutout with the Datapost car, sorry can't remember the guys name Oz was one of the best for quoting BHP figures without the aid of a dyno or rolling road (must have used the force) hence why he made a name from himself

who won in the shot out.

didnt he have a feature with martin handland and people in the fastcar magazine years ago. when they did that 0-100-0 test. These are the days martin had the mondeo.

i think his times were not bad but as i had a read of it. It did say that he had alot of traction problems.

March 2001, shootout, quote from PF "OZ was unable to post a time, as the diaphram had spilt on his dump valve"

Probably the lamest excuse i have EVER heard not doin a run

And at this point in time they had bailey piston dump valves out too

Yeah OZ is ok, but a bit of a rip off!! he done some work on my fiesta and twisted my arm off. Dont think RS's are his mainstay any longer, not spoke to him for a while, but business was tailing off a bit. Not called TT anymore, think he deals with wheel and tyre packages!! how the mighty have fallen eh!

wasnt his o to 100 20 seconds too

the excuse for his times ( which is actually in pf mag history bit where rolls is reminded every month to turn up the boost ) was he incoreectly geared it, too high a gear hence the 20 second time to 100 ( mihg not be 10 seconds but in sure its not far off )

there was no top speed time as pf only booked the track for 1 day and would take 3 daysd to make top speed so was aported after his 3rd lap doing 120 in 4 mins

ok the last bit was bollocks but his car did have the wrong choice in gearing on that run

but business was tailing off a bit.

word of mouth is the best form of advertising mate

2500 grand plus vat for the cossie managment conversion too

think jano put him out of business

Friend of a friend had a 2wd Saff Cossie that was built and maintained by TurboTouch. This thing was ment to be 400 bhp, i went in it once and yep it did shift when working right.

That was the problem with it 95% of the time it wasnt running right @ USC one year it wasnt running right and only did a 17.8 s 1/4 and everyone took the pissout of him so he didnt use Oz or Turbo Touch anymore
