I think it depends on who you know on there, alot of my old m8's use it so kinda good way to keep in touch, I also use it to promote our day at Combe and the Bristol Group meetings....

I joined it about 10 days ago and have got back in contact with loads of people from years ago that I had totally lost contact with who found me through mutual friends etc.
Fuck knows what all the application and random social stuff is all about though, Jay's mrs keeps sending me messages informing me she has slapped me with a haddock or whatever all the time

I think it's a great site, kept me in touch with alot of my old friends who I know go out and meet when we organise a do!
Just fed up of people ruining it with stupid applications and stuff, it just slows it down and ruins it for the rest of us
only trouble is now cos alot of people I know are on it, it'll say something like 55 of your friends have changed their profile picture - how the hell am I supposed to look at all them?

Don't really do anything on it, maybe just look at my friends status now and again to see what they up to, very much just a way of keeping up to date with people.
I don't get people adding complete randoms though. And as for cheaters, they were going to cheat whatever, can't blame face book - either they would've seen them in the pub and swapped phone numbers, or MSN or a webforum/singles site email etc etc etc

I think its good to keep in touch with mates and that, but i do get annoyed with people who spend their entire life on it and post the life on their, especially them status update things, i think people take it way too serious only things i ever put as my status update are just random stupid/funny stuff like at the moment it says:
Chris is as bored as a midget in a theme park!
And with thinks like identity theft etc going around these days some people put far too much info on there!!

Alot of my mates and family are spread out around the world so it's good to share photos/news with them.
I don't use email as I forget to add people from a text list, so it's good for remembering to invite everyone for a night out/in or whatever [just scan through their profile pics and choose the pretty people]. AND for remembering birthdays/events as I'm shocking at that, even with my Blueberry set full of reminders
I did cull a lot of people off recently as you wind up with people on you don't want seeing your photos etc. as it's none of their fucking business!
Take her off your list then you fucking mongtard!

Try organising a night out using it.
