My sister got me into it this year, as she was asked by some old friends of mine why I wasn't on there. Although I now use it, I won't let anyone I don't know get added as a friend, as I can't be done with all that bollocks 
.
I also ignore all the shit that people send you about "owning you" and all that bollocks, it interests me as much as watching paint dry, so Daryl would be instantly "ignored".

I think its a fast track to divorce. Hear about lots of people catching up with old flames and running off with them. Someone we know recently got reacquainted with his ex on there and has now left his wife and newborn baby

I like the part where you "Add as a friend" someone that you genuinely thought was a friend. But then they Ignore your request.
Ive also used it to add a girl I met the night before. Then check her pics to see if the Beer Goggles were in action or not.

Happily retired
They courted at school 15 years ago & then she moved away, 15 years later she saw his name on facebook, never ever seen my son so happy.
Me personally I simply dont understand it & dont want too.
