It's the reverse, the price you are paying is the normal price, they reduce the price most other days when demand is low so they can sell all the seats.

F*cking right on Aer Lingus in my opinion! EVERY other business will maximise their profits when they know demand is high.
Everything from Burger vans at National Day through to B&B's on festival weekends so why not airlines too?!

Edited to say you could always paddle across!

They didn't put the price of the Mazdas up, but I'll bet a discount was a lot harder to find.

It's a pain in the arse but they all do it.

I paid £300 to get to Lisbon and back to watch Bolton in the Uefa Cup.

It's about half that price normally, but just one of those things.
