Default YouTube>>>MP4

Quick question,

Is there an easy way of downloading a video from YouTube and saving it onto my MP4 player?

I've searched old threads and tried that Vixy, which doesn't seem to work.

Then there's KeepVid, which appears to work, but when you save the MP4 it comes up as a Nokia Multimedia file which won't play on anything, and the FLV thing doesn't appear to work either.

I want it in a format which will work on my MP4 player, and don't really want to download about 10 conversion programs!

Cheers

Cheers! That works nicely, but when I try and save it as MP4 it comes up as that Nokia file again?

Should I save it as something else?

I download them using:
http://www.techcrunch.com/get-youtube-movie/
Which saves them as an FLV.

I then convert the FLV with this app:
http://www.download.com/CinemaForge/...-10373646.html
(This is 'linked' to their own online video hosting service but you can ignore this and do stuff locally)

If I want to go straight to DVD (for playing at home) with ANY downloaded online video I skip the 'conversion' process and use this:

Dunno why cinemaforge isnt working, although mines an older 2.5 version.

Try this instead:
http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Con...FQpYQgodyVRAEg

I've not tried it but i've heard the name banded about.
