Computer experts help needed
I have a CD which has some MP4 video files on it, I am told they are high def MP4 files, but i just cannot find any software which has been able to view the files, The have come from a sanyo camcorder, size wise they are not massive, 30meg eash or so.
I have tried Nero showtime (latest with MP4 codec)
Winamp, a few freeware MP4 viewers,
anyone got any suggestions? maybe a convertor or something?

I use VLC on linux and my windows box for most things as for me its the daddy but download the FFDshow and give it a try with Real or WMP. It has lots of codecs and will kick in automatically with the correct one. You should see an FFDshow sign in the taskbar when its working with a player. I used to use it for films i downloaded, stuff installing endless amounts of codecs.

hehe, its one more codec pack that exist that play some strange codecs
i dont remember at th time as i am sitting on a laptop, i have it on the oher computer, will find it later
and all you duds out there
yes VLC is good, but it dont play all the codecs out there
and it sucks to play .wma and .mpg files for example
over media player classic that follows the k-lite codec pack
