But with them seem to being going quiet its all died off

I remember when i was about 16 walking down the festival park to watch the racing, expected to see prob 5 saphs and 3-4 3doors at least every sunday night.
but now with the speed bumps etc etc noone ever sees anything like that anymore

i know frogger has got a 500bhp rs500 in caverswall, 400bhp black 3 door rep in blurton

theres a lad on here with a 520bhp silver escort cos but cant remember his user name.

See the old rs turbo but pretty rare now
i was out in mine today, took it for an mot and managed see 2 saphs and a s1 on the way there and back
theres quite a lot of cossies and turbos round here i know off but not really a scene as such

ask around as to what the taxman will say

if you are unemployed and getting benifits etc and then you start taking on dhss lodgers you are going to be a bit fucked

then again, if it's totaly off the record and they pay you cash money, if they fuck shit up, remember you are going to be in trouble

my advise from when we had lodgers:

offer the bigger of the 2 rooms, it will give you more scope to play with the money side of things, no one wants to live in a shoe box and pay mansion prices

don't let them share the kitchen, get a small fridge so they can use it in their room for their own shit and get them some cheap 19p cutlery from ikea if they complain

don't include bills in the orignial price but do explain that if there is a noticable increase in the cost of stuff they wil be expected to fork out

don't forget that council tax for single residents is at a discounted rate so if they find ot there is more than one person living there they may do you without lube

write up some sort of agreement that they need to keep the place clean and tidy and also about when the bathrooms need to be free for you to clean up and stuff if you start working

factor in door locks for every room but DON'T put a bolt on the inside of their door FFS

how many locks do you have on the front and rear doors? when the lodgers move, they need to be changed

laundry, how will they be getting their stuff to the laundomatt to get cleaned?

you can share cooking stuff with them and washing up dishes and shit bcaeuse the worst that'll happen is that they have to clean the cooker and sink, and possibly microwave, but if they start using the washing mahine and it fucks up, how much will that cost to put right?

treat them with a bit of respect, but don't allow them to take the piss, at all, never ever (this is where i recount the tale of my old man, quite literally, busting the door down, gripping up the fella and his mrs, and dragging them down the stairs and out the front door, while all their possesions were launched through the open windows after the fella gave me a slap for standing in the stairs when i came home from school, i was about 6 or 7 at the time, those were the days when no one would fuck with the old man as he was a bit of a nutter ) so be prepared to get to the point before they start to feel like they can get away with any sort of shit

we had a lodger in our box room, he worked as a hgv driver delivering fuel mostly working nights so hardly ever see him, very nice, friendly bloke no trouble at all clean sheets and take his money weekly. he even took his washing home with him at weekends for his mrs to wash.

its been a few years since ive seen frogger so not sure what hes up to, i heard he still has the 500

Saw bart in jumpin jaks actually about a month ago, we were moving in other directions so didnt get to ask him about the rep.

I used to come off odeon roundabout in second, light the front wheels up, into third, spin again, change into 4th just before maccies(about 90mph) bottom out and keep my foot in past pc world and come to break and morrisons roundabout doing 110mph on standard brakes, do that lap after lap......god knows why im not dead now! My car is the 'renault 5 vs rs turbo' thread, see if you recognise it

thses days youd rip the front end off on the speed bumps!!! I REALLY wouldnt want to take the maccyd roundabout at 100mph without the side exits shut off so some cunt dont come on the roundabout at just the wrong time
