Engine dyno verified 385bhp / 403lb ft.

Tarmac verified 172mph / 12.64 @ 115mph standing quarter.

Also the most power/speed achieved on four 803 injectors that I am aware of .

No reliability issues what-so-ever.

sounds about right but you'll need pockets in the pistons for a bd14
i'd have thought 450bhp on standard cams was pushing it a little
not sayin it cant be done but surely at that kinda power the cost of a cam or 2 would be nothing for the better power band you'd get

Surging is not caused by greys it is caused by a shit map/set up.
I am running greys even on my low setting position of 220bhp, it is clean as a whistle, even down to 850 rpm top gear, idle is under 1.5% CO.

My T4 saff runs 850cc injectors, mild headwork ,38Psi and std cams.... Claimed at 450ish BHP, but never had it on the rollers so who knows.

Not ideal to run 14's without pockets, run very very close even on a std head/ pistons, worth getting pockets IMHO so you can time them in properly. I havn't really done anything with the car since having it so will have a play when I get a chance

Just think if you over rev a yb with std cams you get contact, imagine over reving a yb with a BD14 with no valve pockets

This is the best I have got so far from my Escort Cosworth and it is with standard cams and 1.5kPa. It might have given few extra horses at top, but the ignition was left what it was. The catalytic converter was also restricting top end power.
