Back on topic: I recon it would be a good thing, but where do you draw the line in the sand and how do you say to the other top SPL clubs that they aint eligable to play down South?

Get em in I say, it'll be easier for me to go and see the hoops then!! Celtic would do great in the premiership, rangers would too, got to do something, cos its getting boring winning all the time!! No way would either team need to improve their grounds, Celtic Park holds 60k, not sure about the huns home!!

Oh in reply to the original thread i'd say deffo NO..........
We all have teams that play in the english FA so wot next say team like bolton move north of the border after jocks move south it'd be a fucking joke
As far as im concerned that would be the start of franchise football

i work for a footy company and look after the majority of the football league clubs, and also includes Rangers.
I personally dont think this will happen anytime soon as there are too many loose ends to tie up. As said earlier - where do you draw the line for the remaining clubs in the SPL? Would this mean that some English clubs can move inthe Scottish League also then?
Money? - is the major contributing factor for this decision - and more importantly where does this money go once the club have changed to the Prem?
Too many factors IMHO.
But it would be good to see these teams here.
I for one think Celtic and Rangers will do quite well in the prem.

Its britain i keep geeting told , so why not , they can put ppl on the moon , but cant get 2 clubs into a league in the same country , the other scottish teams would be better of without the BIG 2 , and would be more competitive for everybody , fling them into the first division and thats that

at least they would get to play decent teams every week cause the scottish prem is the celtic and glascow show. Think celtic would be mid table and rangers would struggle as there are loads of brilliant teams in the premiership now and Luton Town are on there way there too LOL LOL LOL
