Well I used one on my Rs turbo after the rebuilt engine a month or two ago and it worked fine. It was intended for a Mk6 1.4cvh wheeze bag!

Well it worked fine until I realised I had the bottom pully washer on back to front and it started to shread the belt, so I had to go and buy another!

What belts do people fit.
- Bog std Gates belt and tensioner kit?

Got a 1.9 cvh, based on the 1.6 head and block.

Belts quite new looking, but tensioners not, and it jumped a tooth a few weeks ago.
