i think tbh that it isn't always marriage that gets in the way it is life , me and the wife have been together 13 years now and married for 3, and the sex is as great as ever but, we both work long hours so we are always knackered and normally just cuddle up but when we do it is mindblowing!!, when we go on holiday we are at it like a couple teenagers (i'm28 she's 27) I think being relaxed with no stress of home or job is a great tool in getting the spark back but like chrisian said you have to work at it and it is all about foreplay to get in the mood

Rab, dont want to sound funny (or offensive to any females reading), but Im sure that women can have less of a sex drive after pregnancy, it might be linked to post natal depression, or a simple fact that she doesnt feel very feminin down there after all she has gone through recently.

I've been with my mrs 11 years and married for 7 and things are better now than ever.
We used to do it loads of times a night but its more quality over quantity now.
Selfishly maybe i think even with kids you have to make time for each other. We're quite strict on the kids going to bed so that we have "adult time" (thats not sex just time together without the distraction) If you don't have time for each other when they're grown up and leave home what do you have left?
We put a lot into our relationship as we work opposing hours just have to make the most of the time we do get. Don't think theres a set recipe you just have to want it to work.
My mrs used to take it or leave it with sex but now wants it as much.

think the secret to a good relationship is sex,,,,,,,,,, if you aint getting it at home then you WILL shop elsewhere,,,, maybe you just aint been in a shop you could afford but one day you will be popping into liddles for some cheep food cause you are hungry
i cant comment though as ive been with my missus for almost 10 years and still aint married but we have a kid and still get it when we want it,,, and either i or her gives it up when asked for it
the point you bird turns you down is NOTHING good,,,, and in 50% of the times when its REGULAR theres a chance shes been getting takeaway and thats why she aint interested in eating dinner at home
oh and then theres the women who when they got have and think its theres now,,,, before the wasnt sure if they had it but now they got the ownership and so dont wanna work hard
the point you get turned down alot is when you SERIOUSLY need to get things sorted,,,,,, id rather be single than be married to a bird who wont give it up and so im forced to look elsewhere,,,,,, if you stopped going to work/ stopped paying the bills she would complain and say its not on,,,,, the ONLY reason we live with women and not our mates till we die is so we can get sex when we want it,,,, its a fact,,,,, who the fuck REALLY got married to have kids,,,,,,, who can say there partner is there BEST MATE,,,,, bollox none of you unles your lying
if you cant nail her then she can go back to her job in sainsburys and take her fucking cusions and shitty stones in a ash tray from ikea fucking with her too !!!!
