Jus to add to that, it's even MORE simple !! DONT drive the car !!

Infact, lock the keys away in a safe that only ya mum knows the combination too & put the car on the mantel as an orniment !!

I drove my Sapphire VERY hard, but when I had the standard diff on, I never launched it (after going through seven diffs in 18 months). If I wanted to go to Santa Pod, I would fit a welded diff, and the swap back to the standard one after - job done

I know your a fag but why did you swap it back? Didn't like the noise when you were parking at the hair dressers?

Mike, I know you drove that car properly !!

But in my eye's launching & sideways is part of the fun of owning a 2wd Cossie !! You "shouldn't" have to stop part of the fun jus cos weak bits or spend stoooooooooooooooopid amounts of wedge on one that'll take the abuse !!

Totally agree and the very reason I've done 3 diffs in 3 months!

If I have to tell you the reason, that shows you are as stupid as I think you are .

Take a stab in the dark, given that you know my modus operandi .

Okay, just for you. I like the Quaife ATBs and with the worm gear arrangement it does away completely with planet gears and does not need regular maintainence like a plated diff.

There is a downside in that if one wheel gets airborne, it goes fully open, but I can't see that being an issue on a road car and haven't experienced any problems myself with these on my own cars .

Price is on my website .

@ Mike

ATB's are awesome, I do prefer a plate diff over them but as you say they do need looking after.
