either weld it and prepare for sideways fun, or get a nice uprated one

i'm sure old turbo supra ones are about 3.6:1 and run 4 planet gears.

there's always the ford 8.8" from the states... it's strong as fook

Any 7.5" Cossy diff still uses the same cwp, same scenaraio with the Atlas axles etc too. uprate one bit and something else will fail and iirc there is no alternative for a 7.5" cwp besides maybe shot peening but thats not a miracle cure.

Did you go and see Glynn about that 9" ? if not when your there ask him to show you the plate diff that came out of Budda's old 530hp Saph that was about as expensive as you can go without fitting the 9" and he totally smashed it to be bits heading down to black cat.

MDCOS has the right idea though if you dont want to spend a fortune, cost of the joints and halfshafts wont be that cheap though but I'll guess WAY cheaper than putting a motorsport 9" in it

Johnny has it spot on !!

I've done a few rear diff's this year now

If it's not the planets, it's the CWP. Even after shot peening them !!

Yeah the ATB does away wit the standard planets, but once the weakest link is sorted, your'll find the next weakest link !!

Thats the CWP.

It's not a case of you only have problems wit the planets, it's that the planets are the things that let go first.
