IK27 is hotter than IK31 and im pretty shure that the guys at MSD would recommend the IK31 for your setup, why not check with them to be 100%shure?

I run IK31s on about the same power as yours, runs so much better on these plugs as well.

I have tried both flavour in my cossie - the IK27 kept breaking the ceramic around the tip

The IK31 was perfect with no problems at all, only had 1 set of these in and did over 15,000 miles on them with no hint of any problems (including trip to the 'Ring and the like)

mmm i need some new plugs for my puma cossie too as they seem to not last long at the moment but ive heard that about the 071 ford plugs.

Anybody got any links showing which spark plugs are matched to which power levels or is it not that simple?? I dont think my cars engine conforms to the usual "stage 1,2,3" etc.

Just been for a blast and i now have a top end missfire , plugs have only done about 500 miles.

Put my old 10,000 mile plugs in and it runs fine.

The engine spec as i got it is:
