i need water injection to keep temps to 45 on my radtec running 2.2 bar on a t4 though. after being in euans i want to improve on my cooling. his water temps and acts were unbelievably low tbh.

Got a Turbo cooler? I had a cheapy airtech jobbie and it dropped the water temps a fair bit.

im kind of in the same boat with different car, am running chargecooler at present, the one from Burtons, but temps on high boost are high, already have pro alloy rad, but could do with big intercooler but dont want to cut the car, and on a tight budget after big build

yeah got turbo cooler pro alloy, i see water temps around 90 on top speed run i know its
not overheating but would like to keep them at 85. ive ordered a 60mm core airtec rad thats the biggest i could find online. my acts dont go above 50 so its ok for now.

Don't know if this is any use to you.
I have a 70mm airtec i/cooler and a 60mm rad.
When I did 4 hours work on rollers last week, my act's did not go above 26C, just 7C above ambient, but as soon as it was idling you could see the act go up as was soaking the heat from the rad then, dropped right away when on the move again, the cell air con was not on either, a very positive comment was alos made about how effective it was, and the rr man has seen plenty in his years, around 40 years he has been in the game starting old skool.
I do a lot of pottering about 10-20mph stuff, the rad fan hardly comes on either, I have not got a vented bonnet(not fitted yet), fans come on at 90C and off at 87C.

Moving to scottyland would be an option if it didn't piss down all the time, no good for 2wd!!
The only annoying thing I found was the i/cooler did not have any bracket etc on which to secure the rad to stop it rocking, as it is only secured at the bottom by the chassis mounts.
I put a wedge of rubber made from an old vaux exhaust mount between top of rad and i/cooler so they don't rub, and then put a tie wrap around the top hose stub on rad, then through the back of the headlight shell area, pulled tight no movement now, a master technical bodge!!
I have a rad fan switch in there just to block the hole, as ecu does it now, but alos have a brand new rad switch rated at 92C ON, 88C OFF, but not using it now.
The oe switch is a bit mental spanning 9/10C, as it tries to bring temp lower than the stat is trying to raise it to!!

It is fairly cold and wet up here. A good combinations for ACT's. But Like mr vrroooom_ptttshhhhh has said, to get cooling that good you need a cooler that good. Thats a total custom cooler.
If you cut your crossmember right, and prepered the area properly, then it's still be mint
