andy,
i remeber that one,
it was an older car with the newer 99 colours,
no engine/gearbox/ecu/shocks ect
good looking rolling shell, but the cost to get it running in its original form, would have been huge, still very cheap for such a well built shell.
which is why i am only looking at complete ones.

True Martin!
The finish on the car was awsome the attention to detail was simply stunning. Best of luck with your hunting, would have loved to have seen the car complete, as the previous owner had said that the handeling & brakeing charactaristics of the car defyed belief

hi andy
yes there quality cars,
by hook or crook i will get one, just a matter of time now,
the 2000 cars are like 50k so looks like the 99 cars will be the ones i will look at,
at 35k they are still not cheap, but cars of this build quality never are,

It was about a year go now but i saw Nigel Mansels Ford Mondeo touring car (I was told it was and the one he crashed in to the wall @ maclans@ doington) forsale in Essex when i was up to see my family there.
It was @ a garage and the blok said that he got it from ford and it came with no engine and gearbox. and he wanted about Ł8000 for it.
If people want to know the area the garage is in i can find out.
Cheers

hi,
looked at that one, in essex,
but it had no engine/ecu/gearbox/rad/driveshafts/ ect ect no no spares,
buy it for say 8k and then spend 25k geting it going again, so it was only good as a spare reynard rolling shell,
the one i am currrently looking at is a prodrive car, the newer ones, with spares and complete.
look sumular, but apparently there like chalk and cheese, so this essex car would not even be any good as a spare shell, as they differ.
