RIPPED OFF anyone in Gosport someone advise me on help been ripped of on ebay
Bought a set of motorbike throttle bodies on ebay nearly a month ago man said he posted them ages ago then said to me he posted them last week but keep lieing! hes sold something similar to someone elese and was saying the same thing.
i paid by bank transfer aswell

ebay have closed the case due to him not responsding, how do i go about getting my money back

If I was down there I'd happily go round and ask the guy where your TBs are. I doubt they'd expect a personal visit if you're from elsewhere.
How were they hoping the payment would get to them with such a vague address?

funny you should say that Roosie ripped my mate of before. he was selling them oil return stub things or something like that and never sent them and then never replied to Pm's but it was only a few Ł so my mate never bothered with it but as you say what goes around comes around

don't make it any worse for your self just hold your hands up and admit they wasn't sent and you never replied to his Pm's. what made it worse was that my mate didn't have pay pal and you told him something about if he payed on that night you would post them in the morrning. so he woke me up so i could pay with my pay pal and you still never sent them like someone else said what goes around comes around

roosie sold me his scooby , which had high miles but after i told him the mileage put me off (141k) he then promised me it had a rebuild with reciept . when i questioned if it had definitly had a rebuild , he stood there and said he had even rung the scooby clinic and checked that the receipt was real and they said yes . i have a witness that heard him say it . the next day i met up with him and bought the car but he had "forgot" the receipt . i then pestered him for the next month for the receipt which finally turned up . by this time id found out that the car had had that slick 50 stuff put it in , the stuff you put in the oil too quiten an engine down , and the engine was now started to seem very rattley and loud . when i got this so called receipt i nearly wet myself . it had been printed off someones computor and the giveaway sign that it was a fake was the fact it had a old date on it , but also had TIPPEX on the receipt , when i carefully scratched the tippec off i found another date ? this date was only two weeks ago from when i got the receipt ????? but i had the car a month???????? some had printed the receipt them selves and was so thick and lazy they had put the date wrong lol . i rung the scooby clinic who said said when i sent them a pic , that it was 100% fake .
so weather Roosie printed it and stictched me up or weather he knew it was fake when he got it , he stictched me up still by lying !!!!!!!!!!!!
cost me Ł3450 for the car , sold it cos the engine was getting so noisy and bangy for Ł2700 5 weeks after buying it cos i couldnt afford it , if the engine went pop !!!!!!!!!
i emailed roosi all this and he just said the reciept came with the car ! will if thats so then why tell me it was real and you had checked !
i then asked him for a good will gesture of Ł200 cash back for me losing nearly Ł800 due to him lying ........................................ never got a reply since then !!!!!!!

I sold 30-35 oil stubs and for what i know everyone recieved them, i asked youfor his username as i cant look into it if you dont give it to me, still have most pms on fiestaturbo i cant do nothing if your not going to tell me who he is. if he truly didint recieve them i dont mind giving his few quid back. but i have most pm from people i sent saying they recieved it.

the problem was , i enquired about the car , but when you told me the mileage i said no thanks . then you pm me and said "dont be put off cos the car has had a rebuild with receipt" .
when i met you and i asked about the receipt you said , in front of me and my mate (stuartrst) that is genuine cos you rung up the scooby clinic to make sure for your own peace of mind .
what a load of bollocks ! you said what ever you could to get rid of that motor !
yes , it had slick 50 in it ,but i didnt say you put it in there did i ???? im only writing the facts i know and as for the rest , well , only the person that done knows the truth !
when i finally got the receipt and had stopped laughing at it due to the fact that mine 10 year could have done a better one , i rung the scooby clinic and sent oner of there boys a pic of it to there fone , they rung back and said it was a fake , nothing like theres! now the date that had been printed and tippixed out was a date after you had sold it and i had bought it , it was a couple of days before i finally received the receipt ........ so if the previous owner had done it he must have typed a future date on it ???? or whenit was wrote some body had put the days date on it and then realised after and tippexed it out .... bearing in mind it was dated 3 weeks after i hadbeen moaning abd asking where is this so called reciept ....................... im not going to say what i think but how does it look to you roosie !
i rung and rung and you wouldnt answer to me , then i find out you have another number which a nice member off here give me once i had ecxplained this story . and guess what , after leaving a msg on that and txting you you would answer that fone either . the point your missing is you bought a car , decided to get rid of it straight away and you said you had checked the reciept !
i payed Ł3450 for the car , but once i found out the receipt wasnt real and the engine was getting noisy due to the slick 50 giving up i had to sell it due to the fact i didnt want to get stuck with it if it was on its way out .
i put it up for sale and sold it for Ł2700 due to the mileage being 141k with no rebuild and noisy engine .
i only payed your price cos i thought i was getting a legit built engine due to you saying you had checked the receipt .....................
you can reply and write what eer you want . i have only wrote the facts , i havent accussed you of anything , just toild it howe it happened .in my head im 100% what happened.
all i asked for was Ł200 back cos you knew i would never have touvhed that car with the mileage that it had without a rebuild , and due to you lies i handed over more than what it was worth .
ive bought cars before that have went wrong and never moaned , its just life , but you lied . end of story . this is why i want you to sort me out a couple of hundred quid but you choose to ignore me .................

i cant believe people would be so trusting as to believe the seller of a car about an alleged engine rebuild with no/misplaced proof in the first place but that aside it does seem that what goes around comes around .

I've been ripped off yes, Spent a fair few days and weeks on someones car, they said they'll pay me. Which when i said, its done mate. he came over, rang me most times asking if its done yet, and i spent alot of hours on it. he then collected the car and said ''i dont get paid for till next friday'' wasnt alot of money as i said ''mates rates''
but still, when i rang him, the monday as i was busy over the friday and weekend i thought ill give him a few extra days. Big mistake''. As he then said, Work didnt pay me what i did, and they have said it will go in next months pay. i thought ok'' well i do payroll myself and ive made mistakes and paid it in there bank rightr away with CHAPS. So i asked him that you make sure you pay me for my hard work ''Yes of course, pop over dude on that day'' so anyways i still never got it, i found out the friday he was ment to pay me'' the day he said i will pay you, He went out drinking and obs i made the mistake of not going getting into contact, he knew i should be paided and never botherd.
i have once paid a fair amount of money and asked a mate to rebuild my engine, i brought a new engine from ebay and got it built. But when he kept buying things without telling me, adding it to my bill. i couldnt afford to just give him the cash right away, But. i told him ill pay him soon as i have the cash ''even if im skint myself after'' which i did do..
it was a metural agreement and we agreed on them terms, i stuck by them and all paid off.
