Default what turbo to get

hi i got a small turbo escort cos and wondering what turbo to a get t28 hybrid or a gt28 as i havent got a clue which is better or maybe a gt30 any info would be good and thanks

what mods have you got, what are you using the car for and what sort of budget/power are you aiming for??

group a air filter, mon exhaust,it will have bd10 cams i would like a strong 300 bhp and i dont want a big turbo

my old man had a T34 with a 0.48 housing on it, was a good solid turbo and superb if just to be used on the road, aint 100% sure if it will suit your spec etc cos im no expert lol!!

you could do 300bhp on a GT28RS .64, thats what I would do minimum lag. You may be even able to do that on a GT28R for maximum response even though I am guessing it would be out of its comp map.

I think gt30 is massive overkill as they are for much higher bhp.

wont i get lag with a t34 and is it a case of just bolt on and that it i want a hybrid as they r stronger

I thought the small turbo escos had a T25 flange? If so the GT28R and 28RS are both straight fitting, there a new generation BB cored turbo so pretty tough.

not sure what it is t25 or t28 thanks for the info anymore keep it coming maybe stu of here may give info
