Wireless connections are free when there attached to a network, no charges.

But if its a wireless modem (like a mobile phone) then it will charge you.

Is it a home laptop or work laptop ?

Where are you using it ?

depends on where you're using it?
have you had to subscribe to a service or have you just managed to pick up a signal somewhere and are using that?

Have you got a wireless network at home ? You need a wireless access point for the wireless to work.

Maybe your neighbours have a wireless network and your using there

... and with that you've stumbled upon the exciting pass time of "war driving".

Do a search for Netstumbler, download and install it on your wireless enabled lappy, then go for a drive around town with your lappy and see whose networks you can drop on to. Much fun.

PMSL

i expect you are using next doors...soooo funny

to get YOUR ntl working on wireless just go get a wireless access point for about 40-50 quid and job done you got wireless

but

remember to use mac address authenticationa and 128bit WEP security
