I always forget to ask him about the complete engine set up.

yes Tial BOV and Wastegate (both Taryn and I have the same! )
Oh, Sorry about Rhys, just wanted to show a bit of beauty and the beast!

Steve it's actually a 2.5 stroked block (same as Taryn's! ) t70 turbo, 30psi of boost.
Yes that bleed valve is for boost control, Haltec engine mgmnt. 3 1/2 downpipe to 4inch ex.
Custom ex man & intake he made with 80mm Mustang TB. Aeromotive fuel pump.
Standard T5 with race clutch, custom driveshaft and custom adapted BMW rear. I forgot the rest.
His car caught fire 2 weeks ago, but the fire marshal caught it in time! some
wire damage but that was it. I think he's racing again this up coming weekend (if it doesn't snow)
Standard box on a 700bhp engine!! I assume he rarely uses full boost?

Building powerful race engines is COMPLETELY different to powerful, durable road engines that can also take flat out top speed runs though aint it Would still be good to see him on here though

he has built quite a few 700+bhp engines but his customers are not into all this 200mph shit lol
Not as if you would be able to hold 200+flat out over here for some time now is it

He has built some that are capable but dont think they are in this country, hence why you havent heard of any
Im very sure that with the righty gearing (if it hasnt already got it) that that norweigen escort cossie (blue one) could do it.

But like has been said, you give him the money and he will lol

dude, he's running 11's with that standard box! He drives his car hard when he gets the chance!
just an FYI the US T5 is stronger than the UK T5 (but I'm sure you guys already knew that )
Has anybody tried using the T5 from a 300zx?

I bought a T5 World Class from the states rated at 330 Lbft, if you theoretically compared it to a UK T5 rated at 265 Lbft which gets easily mashed up at 490 Lbft, the US T5 should also break at 610 Lbft (flywheel torque).

So i'm surprised too that it still doesn't break

That's what I had in my XR a WC T5, it's in Taryn's car now. I'm going to have to get Tremec once my engine build is done.
