What wires do I need to connect a PS2 to amp for 5.1 sound?
sorry dumb question but I am very stoooopid 
have a PS2 and want GTA to sound really cool... how do I do it?

about £150 quality is very good for the money and comes with an optical cable that plugs into the back of the ps2
if u allready have an amp with a optical digital input then u just need the cable

My PS2 is connected to my Technis pro logic stereo through the TV. The PS2 is connected to the Telly and the telly is then connected to the stereo. Have to say Eastenders in surround sound is weird

Think thats the WRONG way to do it! Pretty sure the Amp then gets a signal thats NOT in 5.1 and so you are NOT playing your PS2 in 5.1

I would like to apologise for being a techy-no-nothing and would like to further apologise from any injury sustained by people actually knowing about this stuff from laughing at my poor understanding of the subject
