Default Sat Nav

Okay Guys,

Im looking for a sat nav...Im sick of maps.

What have you got/had?

What would you recommend?

I dont want really flashy stuff, just...a moving map...thats easy to follow, has voice instructions as well as on screen (even thought I think that ill annoy me after 5 minutes)

Anyone know of any deals on them at the moment?

Thanks!

Indeed any of the Tom Tom range is highly recommended, anything else just doesnt cut it in the long run.

Agreed

I have a G0930. It's awesome, does everything. The Go range is the best of the Tom Tom's, but even the basic ones are very, very good and very easy to use

Buy a cheap PDA with GPS, then just grab the latest TomTom software and maps from a torrent site and install them.

Cheaper than buying an actual TomTom, and you'll have the most recent and best spec'd TomTom.

Ditto!

There was nothing really wrong with the Garmin or NavMan, but TomTom is just in a totally different league, you couldn't go back!

I've had a Tom Tom One mow for a couple of years and it's grrrrrreat.

It has been known to try and send me up one way streets the wrong way occasionally but as long as you use your common sense you're fine.
