I know what you mean mate, my boiler also broke down last thursday. I got the part that it needed and fixed it myself, luckily it was only the thermocoupler so it wasn't a hard job.

already spoke to tiff who has given me an idea to try, but i cant do that until the weekend, so until then i'm without any form of central heating in my house

I cant even get hot water cos its a combi

i fixed part of it (£155 for a fucking pcb) but i cant sort this leak (needs the pipe rebrazing to the gauge i think as thats where the leak is coming from) right now, and as mentioned, cant sort the other bit til the weekend - thats what you get for working 26 miles away from home

i had no hot water or heating for 2 weeks till i decided to buy a new fooking boiler meself ( well i got told when the new boilers fitted my rents gonna have to increase , so bought it out right and got one of my choice )

then when it was fitted it stoped working long jon plumber told me missus when she phoned hes on his way then after us getting hes in traffic, be there soon then after 1 1/2 hours get told, oh sorry i forgot , been drininking now cant helo ya till next week i got the hump and like a tosser started cunting him off ect

guess what he never did turn up , tiff gave me a few hints and also told me the manufacturers would sort it instead, they came out and found the problem the meter ( sugested removing the problem , they said no ), the got transco to sort it and i got hot water

got a fooking cool thermostat control thingy that its green backlit and everything, liiks the tits in me kitchen

LOL, know what you mean, had a burst heating pipe in the lounge on xmas eve a couple of years ago (my fault, I stuck a screw in it by mistake...).

Fixed it, then boxing day, the dryer packed up...
