Thats a COMPLETE contradiction Adam sorry.

If that graph is not '100% accurate' then its NOT 'proff' of what is possible at all!

I'm not saying its not an AWESOME car or VERY fast though, please understand that.

I have had a couple of cars showing 390hp on a T34 with a .48 exhaust housing, The last was a 2wd Race car with 8 injectors, Both where tested on diff Dyno dynamics RR.

These were on a RR not a engine dyno, Would would of expected no more than 370/380 on a .48 and just 400hp on a .63 on a engine dyno,
I have not tested a .63 on Autronic on a RR yet.

the van is on at34 .63

the rollers said it had 386.5bhp but it was lifting out of the rollers & spinning the wheels

it means nothing though if the motor isn't strapped to an engine dyno then it can read anything all i know is it puts a big smile on my face every time i get in it

also noticed most of the people i go past have big grins on there face's to

apart from people in porches they don't like it lol

Non was taken mate or by you porkie i'm lazy at explaining stuff my point what we all know rolling roads are not 100% accurate but what i was trying to say is even if its different else where the distribution and power level is gonna follow the same route... As mark has now said good power levels are acheivable...

FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR too much power for what I need!

My car weighs LESS than HALF what yours does.... would you REALLY want to double your NEW power output??

actually... I think I know the answer

Fast forward.

Some including myself have seen T34.48 do over 400bhp and 400lbft. Its all down to the mapping and a shit load of boost. My turbo has the cutback blades to aid airflow to gain that power with a slight gain in lag.
Turbo has done approx 8k and is still ok. Engine is standard apart from headgasket and is on 94k.

Thanks to MSD for a very quick car.

Absolutely Glenn but my pockets are not that deep and if i wanted to go that way i would buy a modern car.

I could bolt my 34.63 on it but i really like how it goes and i don't wanna start chasing numbers.

Yeah , modern turbos are a bit costly, I had a GT2871r 56trim on mine (Standard engine) and it made 365bhp @21psi the exducer on compressor wheel is only 2mm bigger than the T34, which I believe is 69mm.
I now have a GT2860RS on it, don't know how much power it makes @ 21psi but imagine around 330bhp.

Cheers.

What injectors?
I had 350 bhp and 415 ftlb torque at 28 psi on msd's rollers, but on road boosts about 36 psi, that's with 55lb injectors and T34.48, and 4x4,standard engine,MSD 380bhp chip

55lbs. 2wd exhaust manifold, coilpack, i gain some from 2wd exhaust manifold and cutback blades i guess.
Would like to go on MSD's rollers but Stu is 4 hours away so the next best thing was a set of DD rollers and not a ford biased company.
Rsmat and james(loomer) have had similar results.

I have read that it can give 30bhp ish but then a little more lag.

I really do think its a lot to do with cam timing my head has never been skimmed so all the timing is correct. I guess mine just works really well.

I will be making the trip to Msd for a live map on the cortina so that could be fun.
