To be fair, this mini DOES handle better than your M3, so its a fair upgrade if you live somewhere very hilly and twisty and only care how fast you go down the hill

My other one has a 1800 8v engine on twin 40s in it at the moment, but shortly i will be removing that and replacing it with a 2.0 16v Turbo calibra engine, running about 250bhp

Gold seal engine so its been recon'd once in its long life.

Needs a CF flip front on it so you can work on it whilst sat on a tyre.
It'd be easier for changing the oil filter and the notorious lower rad hose too.

TBH its always been mega reliable, so never had to work on it really, lol

Good bit of nerding on spot of the engine colour though

You need to remove the disks and retro fit 8" drums from an older one.

Make it even more of a 'culture shock' for one lucky enough to have owned an M3.

How easy are them VX engines to make RWD?
Is it a case of having to source a manta box or will something else fit?
Omega perhaps?
Do you know how they compare weight/size wise to a zetec?
I'm guessing they're good else the mini/kit car folk wouldnt use them.

Manta 1800 box will bolt straight on, so will an omega box, you can get an adaptor for the T5 cossie box too (what my mate uses in his vx westy)
